I was born in Florida and moved to Ontario in 1994. I have 2 beautiful boys who mean the world to me! Growing up, I always knew I wanted to work at helping women give birth. After having a traumatic birth with my first son, where nothing went as I had planned, I was left feeling very dissappointed with the birth itself (not with my son! I've never been so in love!). I knew at that point that I had to become a birth doula! Just short of 2 years later, I got pregnant with my 2nd son. I was determined to have a better birth, to be in charge of my body, and to bring my son into a very calm, loving environment. I was very lucky to have two amazing midwives who let me do whatever felt natural. Now that my boys are a bit older, I am following my dream! I am in training with DONA, Int. to become a certified birth doula, and I'm so blessed to have the opportunity help empower women to birth the way they want!

I am a wife of 27 years, a mother of 4 children, and a grandmother to 6 precious kids! I was able to be at 2 of my grandchildrens births and they were both unforgettable!
I am in training with DONA, Int, as well, to become certified as a birth doula. I have enjoyed meeting other women who share my passion and have learned so much.
I was honored to be able to help my daughters while they gave birth, and am looking forward to helping many women in the future as they bring their beautiful babies into the world.
